Jacksonville – A tragic shooting incident has shaken the Grand Park neighborhood in Jacksonville, leaving a man in his 30s dead. The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning at a residence on Division Street.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO), officers responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting and discovered the victim lying in the driveway of the residence with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Emergency responders were quick to arrive at the scene, but unfortunately, they were unable to save the victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
