A Promising Young Pilot
Maisie Bitler was piloting a Cessna 172 when the aircraft crashed into a wooded area near South Allegheny Street in Woodward Township. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) preliminary report determined the crash as accidental due to “unknown circumstances.” Tragically, Maisie, the sole occupant, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
