Maidstone Stabbing Investigations – Police in Maidstone are investigating a serious assault outside the Hare and Hounds pub on Monday, September 11, 2023. According to reports, law enforcement agencies have closed off multiple routes as forensic teams and investigators arrive at the location for active investigations.
Multiple roads in the area hos been closed as officers investigate at the scene. The Lower Boxley Road has also been cordoned off by the police, and outside the pub is also taped off by the investigators. Law enforcement agencies have not confirmed the state of the victim. A local alleged an ambulance left the scene with a stabbing victim.
A male individual has been formally accused of the offense of attempted murder after the occurrence of a stabbing incident involving a law enforcement officer in the town of Maidstone. The police constable, who was in his fifties, sustained an injury from a pair of scissors after responding to a report on Albion Place at approximately 20:00 BST on Thursday.
According to the Kent Police, the individual was transported by air to London due to severe injuries. However, after this incident, the individual has been released from the hospital. Robert Jenner, a 48-year-old individual residing at Albion Place in Maidstone, has made an appearance at the Medway Magistrates’ Court. According to Kent Police, the individual has been detained in prison and is scheduled to make their next court appearance at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday.
