Mae McQuillan Death; Greenway Women’s Centre Mourns Member : We announce our Company Secretary the source of her greatest pride, and we send our deepest sympathies to the families of Jennifer, Joanne, and Katharine as well as to Mae’s extended family.
We’d want to end by thanking Mae for everything; she was truly exceptional. From her colleagues Directors and the Greenway crew, we just wanted to say “thank you.”
Women’s Group on Greenway MBE’s untimely death to you, our service users, volunteers, parents, coworkers, funders, and friends with deep sadness and heavy hearts. Our Greenway family owed a great deal of its accomplishments over the years to Mae, our matriarch, who worked tirelessly and devotedly to the Women’s Center’s success.
Mae headed the Women’s Support Network and the Greenway Women’s Group committees over the years, serving as a respected committee member in both groups. Mae had already worked for more than 15 years in the women’s sector when she was granted the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List of 2011. Her commitment to enhancing chances and assistance for Mae served as the chair of the Women’s Support Network and the Greenway Women’s Group committees for many years. She was a valued member of both groups. Mae had been employed in the women’s sector for more than 15 years when she was granted the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List of 2011. She was an excellent and well-deserving winner of this honor because of her commitment to enhancing possibilities and providing support for women.
Every day, the culture and walls of Greenway bear witness to her extensive industry expertise, unwavering advocacy, relationships she forged, and the work she accomplished over the years. Despite everything Mae has meant to us, we also recognize that her family came first and the source of her greatest pride, and we send our deepest sympathies to the families of Jennifer, Joanne, and Katharine as well as to Mae’s extended family.
