Lyndsey Vicknair,Ara Durk Obituary, – The Round Rock Police Department has identified the two victims of the mass shooting that occurred during a Juneteenth celebration in an Austin, Texas, suburb. The victims are Lyndsey Vicknair, 33, from Manor, and Ara Durk, 54, from Pflugerville.
It was confirmed by the police that neither of the victims were involved in the altercation at Old Settler’s Park that resulted in the tragic shooting incident. Following the altercation between two groups at the park, which led to two fatalities and over a dozen injuries, officers arrived at the scene around 10:50 p.m. The injured individuals, aged between 10 and 62, were provided with immediate emergency medical care by police officers and fire department personnel present at the event.
Most of the injured have been discharged from hospitals, while the remaining individuals are in stable condition and are expected to be released in the coming days. The suspect in the shooting is still at large, described as a Black male with a thin build, around 5 feet 7 inches tall, and sporting short dreadlocks. The suspect is believed to be between 19 and 20 years old and is considered armed and dangerous.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect. In other parts of the U.S. over the weekend, six individuals were shot in a residential area in Lathrup Village, a suburb of Detroit, while seven people were shot at a party in Methu.
