Luz Aurora Gonzalez Obituary – The deceased woman, allegedly shot and killed by her teenage son on Tuesday afternoon, has been identified as Luz Aurora Gonzalez, 37, by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. The tragic incident took place at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the 1500 block of Delgado Street.
San Antonio police Chief William McManus reported that she was discovered deceased in front of the residence, with authorities suspecting that her 15-year-old son shot her in the back of the head with a shotgun. Following the shooting, the teenager tried to escape to another house but was apprehended without any further issues, according to McManus. The police have confiscated the shotgun used by the teenager. McManus also mentioned that the previous 911 calls made to the residence in the past couple of weeks were not related to domestic issues.
