Lori Jewell Obituary, Death Cause – The lifeless body of 52-year-old Lori Jewell, who had been a resident of Winthrop, Maine, was found inside the vehicle where she had been traveling. Jewell was a legal resident of the state of Maine.
At the time of the accident, the driver of the vehicle was a lady by the name of Tricia Labree. She was 51 years old and had been born and raised in Sangerville, Maine. She was rushed to Mayo Regional Hospital to get treatment for her wounds, but after they examined her, the medical personnel there determined that her condition was not life-threatening and discharged her from the hospital.
According to the early findings of the investigation, operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and driving at speeds that were in excess of the allowed limit were both significant contributors to this accident. In addition, the investigation found that driving at speeds that were in excess of the permissible limit.
Both the Forensic Mapping Specialist from the Maine State Police and the incident Reconstructionist from the Old Town Police Department are lending a hand to the investigation into the incident. Both of these individuals are from the Old Town Police Department. Both of these people come from their own respective police departments.
Both of these individuals are officers of the Old Town Police Department, and as such, they are colleagues of one another. Both of these officers are employees of the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department; however, they each serve in a separate capacity. Because of the nature of this event, the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department is working closely with the Piscataquis County District Attorney’s Office, as well as with other law enforcement partners, to ensure that a thorough investigation is carried out before a decision is made regarding whether or not criminal charges should be brought against the individuals involved.
This is being done in order to guarantee that the appropriate actions are carried out prior to any decisions being made regarding the bringing of criminal charges against the individual.
