Llewellyn Keith Brown Death – The passenger of a Pontiac Grand Prix who was killed in a car accident involving a deer in Union Township has been identified as Llewellyn Keith Brown, a 56-year-old resident of Luthersburg. The crash occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Friday when the Pontiac, driven by a 28-year-old man from Luthersburg, was traveling eastbound on Rockton Mountain Highway.
According to investigators, a deer entered the roadway and was struck by the car, causing the driver to lose control and collide with a Ford Edge in the opposite lane. Unfortunately, Brown suffered fatal injuries in the collision. It is worth noting that neither the driver nor Brown were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The driver of the Ford and its passenger were treated for minor injuries at Penn Highlands DuBois.
