The entire St. Rose School and Parish community mourns the death of Lisa Sweeting who passed away suddenly. She was announced dead on Thursday, May 16, 2024 in a recent social media publication by St. Rose of Lima – Newtown CT. She died leaving many hearts scarred after learning of her sudden death, Without any doubt, she will always be missed by all those who knew her during the course of her life. Since the news of her death surfaced, many have expressed their condolences with the family
The general public is urged to keep the whole family of Lisa Sweeting in their thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this sad and difficult time of grief. Lisa worked at St. Rose School for a significant amount of time as an administrative assistant. She left an indelible mark on the lives of a great number of people in the St. Rose community, including students and staff members, with her bright smile and her excitement for her profession and the children.
The entire St. Rose School and Parish community mourns the unexpected loss of Lisa Sweeting, long-time Administrative Assistant at our school. Her vibrant smile and enthusiasm for her job and the children touched us all. Her wake will be Friday May 17th, 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Honan Funeral Home, Main Street, Newtown. Her funeral will be Saturday May 18th, 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church.
