Lisa Smith Obituary, Death;- A man whose remains were recovered from a river following the fatal shooting of his wife outside a pub in Kent on Valentine’s Day has been officially identified.
Edward Smith, who was also known by the surname Stockings, was discovered in the River Thames in Rainham, Essex, on March 7, according to Kent Police. His vehicle was located abandoned in proximity to the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge at Dartford shortly after the incident, and investigators suspect he entered the water at that location.
Lisa Smith, aged 43 and from Slough, was shot near The Three Horseshoes pub, where she had been meeting a friend on February 14. A comprehensive inquest into her death is scheduled to take place in September.
