Lisa Schwytzer Obituary, Death; – A woman has tragically lost her life following a fire that occurred in Troy earlier this month.
The incident took place at a residence on Westbrook Lane in Troy on February 5. The fire ignited at approximately 8:30 a.m., prompting a swift response from emergency crews after a 911 call reported flames visible in the living room of the house.
One individual was transported by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital, but unfortunately, that woman later succumbed to her injuries.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has identified her as 59-year-old Lisa Schwytzer. Emergency responders on the scene also reported that a cat perished due to the fire. Investigators discovered smoking materials and oxygen equipment within the home; however, the official cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
