Linus Tekippe Obituary, Death – On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, a death that was abrupt and unexpected took place at the residence of Linus Tekippe, who was 62 years old and lived in Fort Atkinson, Iowa. St. Aloysius Catholic Church, which can be found in Calmar at 304 Maryville Street, will be the location of a Christian burial service that will take place on the Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. During the service, the Reverend Henry Huber will serve as the presider. It has been decided that the burial would take place in the church cemetery. On Monday, March 11, 2024, visitation will be held at the St.
Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m., and this will be followed by visitation at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Both of these events will take place on the same day. On April 12, 1961, Linus Raymond Tekippe, the son of Paul and Seraphia Timp Tekippe, was born in Decorah, Iowa. His parents married at the time. Additionally, he was born because of his parents. 1979 was the year that Linus graduated from South Winneshiek High School and obtained his diploma. Soon after he received his high school diploma, he started working for the Winneshiek County Road Department, where he was employed for almost thirty years. He was responsible for farming the family farm during this time. In addition to this, he continued to pursue his interest in agriculture by working part-time for Farmers Union Cooperative throughout the busy planting and harvesting season.
He did this while performing the aforementioned activities. When he retired from the Winneshiek County Road Department in 2018, he started working full-time at the Farmers Union Cooperative in Fort Atkinson, Iowa. He remained employed there for more than seven years, which is a significant amount of time. On November 24, 1990, he and Paula Hackman eventually tied the knot and became husband and wife. Due to the fact that they were married, they were able to have two children: Travis and Matthew. The activities that Linus enjoyed doing the most in his leisure time were spending time with his family, participating in events that took place outside, grilling, hunting, and cheering for the Iowa State Cyclones. Linus and Paula are both present in St. Aloysius Church, which is where they are members of the church.
