Lillian Brown,Sabrina McCain Obituary, Death; – Two women were tragically shot and killed inside a residence in Park Forest on Thursday evening, according to law enforcement officials.
Police received a call regarding a gunshot victim at a home located in the 300 block of Miami Street at approximately 6:08 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers gained entry into the property and discovered two unresponsive women, along with two children who were unharmed.
The deceased victims have been identified as Lillian Brown, aged 51, and Sabrina McCain, aged 30, both of whom sustained apparent gunshot wounds. One victim was declared dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The children were taken to local hospitals as a precautionary measure.
Authorities believe that the shooting was an isolated event, indicating that the victims and the suspect were known to each other. The investigation is still in progress.
