Lili McCann Obituary, Death; – A woman from Kansas City lost her life in a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on both sides of Interstate 70 in Leavenworth County on Friday evening, as reported by the Kansas Highway Patrol. The incident took place around 5 p.m. near the boundary between Leavenworth and Wyandotte counties.
According to the highway patrol’s crash report, the accident was initiated when a Nissan Altima traveling east on the interstate veered into an Isuzu vehicle moving in the same direction. The Isuzu’s driver subsequently lost control, crossing over the median wall and colliding with a westbound Acura ILX. Following this impact, the Isuzu rolled over and struck another westbound vehicle, an Infiniti QX50.
A passenger in the Infiniti, identified as 50-year-old Lili McCann from Kansas City, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Infiniti’s driver, a 54-year-old man, was transported to a hospital with suspected serious injuries. The Isuzu’s driver, a 53-year-old man, also sustained suspected serious injuries and was taken to a medical facility.
The 17-year-old female driver of the Altima was hospitalized for suspected minor injuries, while two other teenagers and a child under one year old in the vehicle were reported to have no visible injuries. The 63-year-old driver of the Acura also appeared to be uninjured.
