Leah Fagan Obituary, Death – A beloved member of Ballymun AC and a recent FIT4LIFE graduate. Her untimely passing has left our entire community heartbroken. In light of this tragic loss, all club sessions have been canceled this week as a mark of respect. However, the clubhouse will be open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 PM, offering tea, coffee, and a safe space for anyone impacted by Leah’s passing to come together for support. We encourage everyone to join us in honoring Leah’s memory during this difficult time.
Leah had recently embarked on her running journey with the FIT4LIFE program, where she quickly formed a solid circle of friends within the club. Her enthusiasm and determination were evident as she recently conquered the women’s mini-marathon, a testament to her dedication and spirit. Leah had also planned to complete her first half-marathon later this year, a goal she was eagerly working towards. We are truly devastated by her loss, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Leah’s family and friends during this challenging time. Please feel free to reach out to any of the committee members or coaches if you need support. It’s important that we wrap around each other and provide comfort to those who are grieving. Leah will be dearly missed by everyone at Ballymun AC. Her positive energy, kindness, and passion for running will forever remain in our hearts. As we navigate this difficult period, let us remember Leah with love and gratitude for the joy and inspiration she brought into our lives.
