Michelle Carlton Obituary News:
Michelle Carlton, beloved wife of Rockcastle Speedway member Tommy Carlton, has sadly passed away. She died on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in Lexington, KY. Michelle was born on September 30, 1969, in Louisville, KY, to the late Larry Jones, Sr. and June Davenport Jones.
Michelle was a devoted Christian who cherished her Bible study time. She dedicated herself to homemaking and had previously worked as a retail manager. Her passions included cooking, canning, crafts, and art. All who knew Michelle will miss her warm personality and love for her family and friends.
Including her husband Tommy, Michelle is survived by her children, Brittany Montgomery (D.J.) of Evansville, IN; Starr Lewis (Aaron) of Harrodsburg, KY, Bryce Harp (Bekah) of Lawrenceburg; her stepchildren, Valerie Manley (Brandon), Calvin Carlton (Katie) and Makayla Carlton, all of Lawrenceburg; and Miranda Carlton (Josh) of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Ezra Irene Mosher, Jaxxon Cash Culver, Wyatt Carlton, Amelia Carlton, Eli Smith, Mia Smith and Alayna Shae Clark, and two grandchildren on the way; several stepchildren; and a sister, Jennifer Justice of Louisville.
Angel Zoel Lewis, Michelle’s daughter, and Larry Jones, Jr., her brother, were also deceased before her parents.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, with Bro. Noal Cotton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. till the time of service at 1:00 P.M.
