Lance Mitchell Riely Obituary – The murder that occurred overnight in Greene Township is currently being investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police in Franklin County. According to State Police, on June 22, Troopers promptly responded to a reported shooting in the 3700 block of Mountain Shadow Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered an individual inside a vehicle on the road and immediately provided assistance. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the individual was later pronounced deceased.
Authorities were informed that there were other individuals present in a nearby residence. They successfully ensured the safety of two juveniles and Anthony Jalil Henderson, aged 30, who exited the home.
State Police have determined that Henderson and the victim, Lance Mitchell Riely, 33 years old, engaged in a verbal dispute which tragically resulted in Riely’s death from a single gunshot wound.
Henderson has been identified as the suspect in this case and has been charged with first and third-degree murder, as well as firearm and drug offenses.
It is important to note that there is currently no threat to the public.
