Kyrion Travalous Daniel Bradford Death – Residents of an Orange County apartment complex are expressing their worries about safety after a shooting incident that resulted in the loss of one life and the hospitalization of three individuals. Glenda Montero Hernandez, a long-time resident of the Omega Apartments on Forest City Road at Gamma Drive, shared her feelings of sadness and distress over the tragic event that occurred on Thursday night at 8:30 p.m.
According to Montero Hernandez, such outbreaks of violence are rare in the community, and the presence of numerous police and paramedic vehicles until the early hours of Friday morning prevented residents from returning to their homes.
The aftermath of the shooting was evident as a vehicle struck by a bullet was removed from the scene, accompanied by two other damaged vehicles. Shell casings and bullet holes were also discovered by residents, indicating the severity of the incident.
Law enforcement officials informed WESH 2 News that the shooting involved two rival groups – one from the apartments and the other from a vehicle. All four individuals in the vehicle sustained injuries and were transported to hospitals, with Kyrion Travalous Daniel Bradford, 23, tragically losing his life.
A concerned resident, who chose to remain anonymous, emphasized the need for stricter gun control measures, especially due to the presence of children in the area. Another resident highlighted the lack of a gate at the entrance to the complex, raising concerns about security.
Despite inquiries, the management of the apartment complex declined to comment on security measures or the recent shooting incident. Detectives from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office are urging anyone with relevant information about the Forest City Road shooting to come forward promptly.
