Kierra Burney Obituary, Death; – A woman discovered deceased in Decatur County last week has been officially identified.
Kierra Burney, aged 35, was found dead on Wednesday morning near Pondtown Road by maintenance crews working in the vicinity, as reported by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Following initial autopsy findings, the GBI stated in its press release that Burney’s death has been classified as a homicide. The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office is currently offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for her death, according to the GBI. This case remains an active and ongoing investigation.
