Khamari Hodges Obituary, Death; – One individual has lost their life as a result of a shooting incident at an apartment complex in Ahwatukee. As reported by the Phoenix Police, officers were dispatched to the location near Pointe Parkway and Guadalupe Road following a shots fired call on December 26 at approximately 4 p.m.
Upon their arrival, they discovered 26-year-old Khamari Hodges suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Unfortunately, Hodges was pronounced dead at the scene. Additionally, a woman was found injured; however, authorities indicated that her injuries were not due to gunfire. She was subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made in connection with this incident. “Homicide detectives have been assigned to take over the investigation,” stated the police. “This investigation is ongoing as detectives work to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting.”
