A woman was shot and killed early Sunday morning in North Charleston.
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputies responded to a call shortly after midnight on the 9700 block of Tremont Avenue.
They found a woman with a gunshot wound who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CCSO says there is no threat to the community and is currently investigating the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Keonna Lashae by the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
No arrests have been made as of May 26.
