Kenneth Amey Obituary – In late May, a tragic rollover crash occurred on US-395 in Reno, resulting in the death of a 25-year-old man. The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol promptly responded to the incident, which took place around 11:15 p.m. on May 31, at the intersection of US-395 southbound and Clear Acre Lane.
According to the initial investigation, the crash involved a white 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Kenneth Amey, a resident of Reno. Amey was traveling southbound on US-395, approaching the Clear Acre Lane offramp when, for reasons yet to be determined, the vehicle veered off the travel lane, collided with the center median, and spun around.
Continuing its trajectory, the Ford crossed the southbound travel lanes and left the paved road, rolling over as it descended a dirt embankment. Tragically, Amey was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Northern Command West M.I.R.T (Multidisciplinary Investigation & Reconstruction Team) has taken charge of investigating this devastating crash
