Kendall Willard Obituary, Death; – The snowboarder who tragically lost his life at Sugarloaf Mountain this past weekend has been named.
According to the Chief Medical Examiner, 63-year-old Kendall Willard from Kingfield succumbed to blunt force trauma at approximately 9 a.m. on Saturday. Authorities report that Willard had dropped a glove while on a chairlift and descended a closed trail to retrieve it, during which he lost his balance and fell approximately 800 feet.
Sugarloaf has extended its condolences to Willard’s family.
