A man was stabbed on West Street on Wednesday afternoon, and a Keene man is accused of felony assault. The 46-year-old victim, according to the police, was discovered in the Keene, Massachusetts, Cheshire Medical Center, where he had received care. Injuries to the guy are thought to be significant but not life-threatening, according to a police press release.
At around 4:30 p.m., there was a stabbing incident close to The Factory shop on West Street. According to the statement, officers searched the area before detaining and subsequently arresting 35-year-old Kristopher Powers. Powers faces charges of breaching a protection order and second-degree assault. According to authorities, the other individual who was there at the scene is the one who is linked to the stabbing victim.
Powers is anticipated to appear in court on Thursday after being detained without being granted bail.

According to the statement, at approximately four in the morning, police were called to a property on Church Street in response to an allegation of a break-in in which one individual had been stabbed. When police arrived, they identified the parties involved, the statement stated, adding that two of the individuals were treated for knife wounds by police and Keene fire officials. These two individuals, according to the police, were brought to the Keene hospital for further care.
