Keagan Shelton Obituary, Death; – Police confirmed the name Thursday of a 17-year-old girl who was killed earlier this week in East Anchorage.
Keagan Shelton was the teenager identified by police with upper body trauma on Monday night at an apartment on Eastgate Place, off Boniface Parkway near East 32nd Avenue. Shelton was declared dead at the scene, according to the Anchorage Police Department.
Police confirmed that 20-year-old Francisco Ramirez is the suspect. The department told Alaska’s News Source on Thursday that police are trying to find Ramirez.
Alaska’s News Source also confirmed that Ramirez was Shelton’s ex-boyfriend. A cousin of Shelton’s told Alaska’s News Source that the teen was homeschooled. APD said it believes this was an isolated incident and that
