Kayeley Elizabeth Williams,Maddie Obituary, Death; – A tragic incident occurred in Virginia, resulting in the deaths of a mother and her 4-year-old daughter after their vehicle overturned into a pond, as reported by officials.
Virginia State Police indicated that officers were dispatched to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Monday, January 6, near Etna Mills Road in King William County at approximately 1:20 p.m. Authorities stated that a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by 33-year-old Kayeley Elizabeth Williams, veered off the roadway and subsequently overturned into the water.
According to police reports, both Williams and her daughter, Maddie, were discovered in the vehicle wearing their seatbelts, with the child securely fastened in a car seat. Tragically, both Williams and her daughter were pronounced dead at the scene.
WTVR interviewed Williams’ sister, Leah, who described the close bond between the mother and daughter. “Maddie was so free-spirited, wide open, and wanted everyone to know she was there,” she remarked. “Truly one of a kind, sent to us from heaven.” The investigation into the crash is ongoing, as police continue to gather information. Authorities remind drivers to exercise caution during severe weather conditions while on the road.
