Kawsheen Gelzer Obituary – Nicolas McGee, aged 45, was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with murder, robbery, concealment of a human corpse, and tampering with evidence by the New York Police Department.
The body parts of 40-year-old Kawsheen Gelzer were discovered on January 22 in an apartment that McGee shared with Heather Stines, aged 45.
Stines was also arrested and charged with concealing a human corpse shortly after the discovery of the body parts.
Upon responding to a wellness check call at the apartment on Nostrand Avenue in Flatbush, officers found black bags containing body parts in the refrigerator and freezer.
Gelzer was identified by medical examiners through fingerprints, as stated in a criminal complaint.
The police did not disclose further details about the case, such as the circumstances and time of Gelzer’s death.
McGee was set to appear in court on Friday, although the case was not yet available in online court records, and the district attorney’s office claimed to have no information regarding his legal representation. An attempt to reach out to Stines’ lawyer for comment was made on Friday.
