Katrina Moore Obituary, – A woman was killed and two others were seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash near Haines City on Wednesday, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. The crash took place at around 3:47 p.m. on U.S. 27 at Morrison Ranch Road. The driver of a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt lost control of the vehicle, crossed the median, and collided with a 2023 Dodge Durango in a head-on crash before hitting a 1997 Kenworth truck.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as Katrina Moore, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The two occupants of the Dodge were taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the Kenworth truck was not injured.
