Kathy Williams Obituary – Kathy Williams passed away on April 3, 2024, with her family by her side, after a long and happy life. She was born on March 17, 1968. Love, warmth, and generosity are her legacies, and they have impacted countless lives. After being married on August 8, 2001, Kathy and Albert Williams began a lifelong journey of love and commitment. The strength of their relationship demonstrated how love can conquer all obstacles.
Ansley, Brinden, Jessie, Nate, Seth, Colt, Jackson, Levi, Cannon, and Pauline are among her treasured grandchildren. She also leaves behind her devoted husband, Albert, four children, Stephen, Shannan Gillenwater, Sheila, and Steven Smith. Kathy’s life revolved around her family, and she derive much happiness from being in their company.
Kathy brought her musical gifts and unwavering faith to the Faith Baptist Church in Slick, Oklahoma, where she was a longtime member. Her stunning vocals and deft piano playing would frequently brighten the spiritual experience of the gathering. Outside of her church group, Kathy loved to paint and was always happy to show off her skills to anyone who would listen.
As her loved ones fought over who would get her next project, she found comfort and satisfaction in making something beautiful by hand. Kathy loved nothing more than spending time with her numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She adored each second she spent with them, making memories that will last a lifetime.
Karla, Kathy’s sister, and Eugene McGuire, her father, both passed away before Kathy. Her mother, Barbara McGuire, siblings, Steve McGuire, Kim Dykens, and Karen McSpadden, as well as Danny Wiggins, are all survivors. Quilting was a meaningful activity for her and her family, especially her mother, with whom she had a close relationship.
Those fortunate enough to have known Kathy will miss her lively personality, contagious laughter, and beautiful smile. She brought joy and love to everyone she met, and the memories she left behind will shine brightly in the lives of her loved ones forever.
Slick, Oklahoma’s Faith Baptist Church will host a funeral ceremony for Kathy on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 2 PM. The purpose of the gathering is to remember and celebrate her life.
