On June 7, 2024, 53-year-old Karen Lee Boyce suddenly departed. Karen had resided in Virginia Beach her entire life and graduated from First Colonial High School in 1988. She was a beach bum and had recently bought a condo with a gorgeous view of the ocean. She spent years working in a variety of sales-related roles. Barry D. Couch, the love of Karen’s life, was engaged to her. She loved her two fur kids, Finley and Colson as if they were her own children.
Karen’s devoted family will miss her terribly because she is leaving them. Her fiance, Barry D. Couch; her sister, Kristin Boyce Alexander, and her husband, Alex; her parents, E. Lee Boyce, III, and Margaret Finley Boyce; her aunts and uncles, Lowery D. Finley, III and his wife Nani; Patricia A. Finley; James D. Finley, II and his wife Angie; Reese Smith, Sr.; Judy B. Perry and her husband Steve; Patricia B. Halstead and her husband Les; and numerous cousins and close friends
Her parents, Lowery D. Finley, Jr. and Frances H. Finley, Elwood L. Boyce, Jr. and Shirley B. Boyce, as well as her aunt Sara Frances Smith, predeceased her. The H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Rd.
