Justin L. Martinez Obituary, Coroner identifies man killed in wrong-way crash in Urbana

Justin L. Martinez Obituary,  – Champaign County Coroner Stephen Thuney has confirmed that the victim of a crash caused by a wrong-way driver has been identified as Justin L. Martinez, 25. Martinez was pronounced dead at Carle Foundation Hospital Emergency Department at 1:57 a.m. on June 29. Initial reports suggest that Martinez was driving northbound on North Cunningham Ave. near Triumph Dr. in Urbana when a wrong-way driver collided with his vehicle. He was taken to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois, where he later succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy has been scheduled for July 1. The Illinois State Police and the Champaign County Coroner’s Office are currently investigating this tragic incident
