Julianne Reid Obituary – The two individuals who lost their lives in a tragic collision on Interstate 65 in southern Indiana this week have been identified by coroners. Julianne Reid, a 55-year-old resident of Indianapolis, and Damion Stewart, a 38-year-old from Miami, Florida, were the unfortunate victims of this incident that occurred shortly before midnight on Monday.
According to the police, it is believed that Reid’s semitrailer was in the process of slowing down when the collision took place. They suspect that Stewart’s truck subsequently collided with the back of Reid’s vehicle, resulting in a fire engulfing both vehicles. Notably, this unfortunate incident involved a total of three semitrailers.
Regrettably, a third individual who was present in one of the sleeper cabs sustained severe burn injuries and was airlifted to UofL Hospital. Currently, they remain in critical condition, receiving medical care for their injuries. Due to the severity of the crash, lanes along I-65 in Scott County had to be closed for several hours, causing significant disruption to traffic flow.
