Julian Coniell Obituary, Death; – A suspect is in custody following the fatal stabbing of a 14-year-old in Sunnyside, Queens. Authorities have charged another 14-year-old with first-degree gang assault.
The deceased has been identified as Julian Coniell from South Jamaica, who sustained a stab wound to the abdomen at the intersection of Queens Boulevard and 38th Street. According to police, the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
Preliminary reports indicate that a confrontation began at a nearby McDonald’s and subsequently escalated outside. The victim was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Charges against the individual in custody are still forthcoming.
