Julian Comeaux Obituary, Death; – The Houston Police Department has issued a composite sketch of a potential suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old, who was preparing to join the Navy, on February 16 in Midtown.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, standing five feet, 8 inches tall, with a medium skin tone and locs that are yellow or gold-tipped. He was dressed in dark attire.
According to HPD, the victim, identified as Julian Comeaux, was socializing with friends in the Midtown area when they encountered the suspect, who was allegedly attempting to break into one of their vehicles.
Comeaux and his companions confronted the individual, who then brandished a firearm, fatally shooting Comeaux and injuring another individual before fleeing the location.
Authorities noted that the suspect left behind a shoe at the crime scene. The second victim was transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. Friends of the victim stated that he was scheduled to enlist in the Navy that Friday.
