Joseph M Antee Obituary, Death; – A 64-year-old man from Flatwoods tragically lost his life on Sunday afternoon following a motorcycle accident in Vernon Parish, as reported by the Louisiana State Police.
Joseph M. Antee was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, which occurred around 12:08 p.m. on Louisiana Highway 8, close to the intersection with Comrade Road, according to a news release.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Antee was operating a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling west on La. 8 when he veered off the roadway during a left-hand curve. The motorcycle subsequently struck a driveway embankment, resulting in Antee being thrown from the vehicle.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
