Jonathan began his career with the Ontario Provincial Police as an Auxiliary Officer with the Hawkesbury Unit in October 2006.
Jonathan joined the regular Force at the Dryden (Ignace) Detachment on August 25, 2008.
Following the completion of the duration posting, Jonathan transferred back to Hawkesbury on January 23, 2012. On September 18, 2023, Jonathan became a member of the East Region Emergency Response Team.
Sadly, Jonathan was only 39 and a member of the OPP for over 16 years.
