Jonathan Haislip Sebring FL Death and Obituary – Jonathan “Brad” Bradley Haislip, a highly respected project manager in the home improvement industry, tragically passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 49. A longtime resident of Avon Park, Florida, Brad was a familiar and beloved figure in the local community, known not only for his dedication to his profession but also for his active involvement in the First Sebring Methodist Church. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, family love, and community service.

Born on April 28, 1975, in Greensboro, North Carolina, Brad moved to Highlands County in 1983 from Delray Beach, Florida. His life was marked by a deep commitment to his craft, where he established himself as a professional in the home improvement sector. Over the years, Brad built a strong reputation for his attention to detail, his ability to manage complex projects, and his dedication to ensuring high standards. His work touched many lives, making him an integral part of the community’s development and growth.

Brad is survived by his wife, Emily Haislip; his mother, Beverly Bostick; his daughters, Rosie and Kylee Haislip; stepdaughter Savannah McCollough; stepsons Tucker McCollough, Colton Herndon, and Matthew Herndon; brothers Dale Haislip (Shannon) and Henry Broxton; sisters Misty Moore (Todd) and Neatha Madden; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his fathers, Charles Hubert Haislip Jr. and Arthur Bostick, and his brothers, Troy Bostick and Antonio Bostick. His family, who were always by his side, are mourning his untimely passing, yet they continue to celebrate the positive impact he had on all their lives.

A memorial service honoring Brad’s life was held on August 21, 2024, at the First Sebring Methodist Church, where friends, family, and community members gathered to pay their respects. Visitation began at 10:30 AM, followed by a celebration of Brad’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorial contributions be made to The Miracle League for Highlands County, an organization dedicated to providing children with disabilities the opportunity to play baseball. This gesture was a fitting tribute to Brad’s lifelong commitment to helping others and giving back to the community.

There has been some confusion online regarding Brad’s alleged connection to the HGTV show Home Town Takeover, which was filmed in Sebring, Florida. Several social media posts mistakenly linked him to the show, likely due to a mix-up with another individual named Jonathan Walters, who served as the general contractor for the third season of the series. It is important to clarify that Brad Haislip was not involved with Home Town Takeover in any capacity, and the confusion has since been addressed.

Brad’s death has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him, yet his memory and legacy will continue to inspire. His commitment to his family, his work, and his community made a lasting impact that will not be forgotten. His passing is a reminder of the importance of community and family in shaping one’s legacy. Brad Haislip will be remembered as a dedicated father, a loving husband, and a pillar of his community, whose work and kindness will be deeply missed.
