John Wagoner Obituary, Death; – A 73-year-old man lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 20, located south of Ione.
As reported by the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the incident took place on March 12 at approximately 7 a.m. A vehicle was heading south on Highway 20, roughly 14 miles south of Ione, when the driver was unable to successfully navigate a left-hand curve. The car veered off the road to the right, descended an embankment, and collided with a large tree. The driver, identified as John Wagoner, aged 73, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
