John Vassallo Wilmette, IL Obituary, Death: John Michael Vassallo, 22, died abruptly on September 29, 2024, at home. John was a young man who lived an excellent life and brought delight to everyone he encountered. His contagious spirit, friendliness, and devotion to those around him will leave an indelible impression on everyone who knew him.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved parents, Brett Vassallo and Carol Ellman; his cherished siblings, Charlie Vassallo (fiancée Sydnee Ewing) and Lydia Vassallo; and his grandparents, Charles Vassallo and Michael and Roberta Ellman. John was predeceased by his grandma, Elizabeth Vassallo.
John was also cherished by his extended family, which included his uncle Bruce Ellman, aunt Jill May (Larry), and cousin Ben Ellman. His many close friends, who became like family, will always remember his colourful personality and the many joyful occasions they enjoyed.
John’s death has created a huge vacuum in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His family, friends, and everyone who loved him will always remember the joy he brought into the world. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
