John Mills Obituary, Death – A tragic incident occurred this morning outside Valhalla Golf Club, resulting in the death of a man who was struck by a shuttle bus. The victim, identified as John Mills from Louisville, was working with a PGA vendor at the time of the accident. He was crossing Shelbyville Road in a designated bus lane around 5 a.m. on Friday when the collision occurred. Local authorities, specifically the LMPD, have confirmed that Mr. Mills passed away at the scene.
The news of his untimely demise prompted Mayor Craig Greenberg to release a statement expressing his condolences to the grieving family and the community. As a result of the accident, Shelbyville Road was temporarily closed, causing delays for the general public PGA shuttles originating from the Kentucky Expo Center.
