John Gabriel Sloma Obituary, Death; – John Gabriel Sloma, a 40-year-old individual, has been confirmed as the victim who was fatally shot last Friday at an apartment complex located on Omaha Drive, according to the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Following the incident, the Corpus Christi Police Department apprehended 60-year-old Andrew Botello. He was interrogated by law enforcement prior to being charged with murder.
The event transpired in the 900 block of N. Omaha Drive, in proximity to Interstate 37, at approximately 5:17 p.m. on Friday, as reported by officials from the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Sloma was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Investigators have indicated that they believe the shooter and the deceased were acquainted with one another.
