We shared an affinity for 80’s GM muscle cars and we’d often discuss his plans for his El Camino that was forever stuck in the shop. On many a school holiday his young son, Tony, would join us at the shop, playing with bits and pieces off old equipment, just as I had done with my own father when I was young.
