Johenam Moises Fernandez Alvarez Obituary – The victim in the fatal crash that occurred on Friday morning following a law enforcement pursuit has been identified as Johenam Moises Fernandez Alvarez, a 34-year-old motorcyclist residing in Ashford, according to Alabama State Troopers.
The incident took place at 12:09 a.m. on Houston County Road 55 near Alabama 52, which is situated 12 miles east of Dothan. Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson stated that prior to the crash, Fernandez Alvarez was being chased by Houston County sheriff’s deputies. No further information has been provided at this time.
Thompson mentioned that the motorcycle veered off the road, hitting a raised curb, two parked vehicles, and a tree. Fernandez Alvarez was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the crash is currently ongoing by the troopers.
