Joette Campbell Obituary – It is with deep sorrow that we must inform you of the passing of Joette Campbell, who was our Chief Development Officer. Her passing comes as a heavy blow to our organization.
In the event that you have ever taken part in Family Support Services, there is a significant possibility that you have had the opportunity to interact with Joette. Since the very inception of our organization, she has been an essential member of our team here at this organization.
Joette began her professional life by acting as a devoted volunteer for Family Support Services. Subsequently, she moved on to work in a range of areas, including those in marketing, advertising, human resources, fundraising, and grant writing. Despite the fact that she wore a variety of hats, she was responsible for a significant amount of work for our business that was not readily apparent to everyone. She went above and above for our organization each and every time you asked her to do something. To suggest that Family Support Services would not be where it is now if it were not for her experience, energy, and persistent perseverance would be an understatement.
Her contributions have been essential to the organization’s success. She was able to spend a significant portion of her life with us, and we are really thankful that she did so. It was the Harley Party and the Mardi Gras that she was most enthused about when it came to the various fundraising events that she participated in. It is because of her that we are able to bring in more than 2,500 individuals to the Harley Party each and every year. The fact that she was there is the key reason why the event was successful. Throughout the course of the year, she would compose a number of substantial gifts that would be used to finance the work that our organization conducts to aid survivors, troops, families, and other individuals. Her efforts to raise funds for our organization were conducted with great diligence.
In addition to being a devoted supporter of Family Support Services, Joette cherished the organization. Within the context of a more personal setting, she was the one in whom the staff felt the most at ease confiding. Joette was well-known for her ability to provide counsel and words of wisdom when that was required, but she was also recognized for merely providing an ear to listen when the situation warranted it. She would never fail to bring to our notice the significance of the work that we do, and she would do both consistently.
Expressing her love and affection for her family offered her a great deal of happiness, and she made sure to take advantage of every opportunity to brag about them.
She had a profound attachment for her animals and was thankful for any opportunity to talk about her three-legged children with the staff. She was a fervent supporter of the staff members, the work that we do, and a great number of other things about the organization. Once again, the fact that Joette was a part of the FSS family for such a considerable amount of time was an unbelievable blessing for the organization that is known as Family Support Services.
Her absence is going to be deeply felt by everyone.
