The path that Jill took was one that was marked by tremendous influence and lasting friendships. Jill was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. She received her education at St. Joseph Catholic Schools, where she gained friendships that would last a lifetime and established the groundwork for her successful future. It was during those formative years that she met the man who would become the love of her life, Paul Willard. The year 1963 marked the beginning of a wonderful trip that was full with love, laughter, and steadfast companionship. This lovely journey began with their union in marriage.
For the past quarter of a century, Jill has devoted her life to the honorable profession of healthcare. Her compassionate nature and unflinching dedication shone clearly during her time while working at Ogden Regional Medical Center and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah. Her dedication to providing the best possible care for other people was not confined to the confines of the hospital; rather, it was an essential component of who she was.
Jill was a talented artist who, in addition to carrying out her professional responsibilities, brought beauty and originality into the world through the masterpieces she made. Her enthusiasm for art was a manifestation of her lively spirit, and her masterpieces continue to be a source of motivation for anybody who had the good fortune to be able to observe them.
Despite the fact that Jill’s passing has left a hole in the world that will never be filled, her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Those who are left behind include her dedicated husband, Paul, as well as her cherished children: Kevin Michelle Willard (Lauren, Mackenzie, and Jake), Debbie Marshall Palm (William and Madeline), Sheri Willard, Missie Bert Somers (A.J. and Jackson), and Noelle Patrick Jones (Nathaniel Katie and Madeline Sears). In addition, she leaves behind her brother, Paul Martha Oberley (Leticia John), as well as a large number of other family and acquaintances whose lives were impacted by her kindness and generosity.
