Jessica Barnes Obituary, Death; – One of the three individuals charged in relation to the death of a young woman from Upstate is seeking bond once more.
In August, 20-year-old Jessica Barnes was reported missing in Anderson County and was subsequently discovered over a month later in a wooded area in Pickens County. Authorities have indicated that three individuals are facing charges in this matter: Jessica’s husband, Brandon Barnes, and her two roommates, Kendall Mims and Victoria Tippett.
Brandon has been ch
arged with murder, while both roommates face charges of accessory after the fact and obstruction of justice for allegedly assisting in concealing Jessica’s body. Initially, all three suspects were denied bond; however, Mims is now requesting to be released from jail. Mims is scheduled to appear before a judge for a second time at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Please stay tuned for further updates as we continue to provide information.
