Jerry Davis Obituary, Death; – The family of a Spaulding resident is devastated after receiving the news of his death in the tornado that struck on Saturday night.
According to the family, they feel “torn apart” by the loss of Jerry Davis, 84, who tragically died when the storm impacted their home. His wife, Nyoka, was also present during the incident, as reported by their niece, Vinita Clifton.
Clifton shared that her aunt sustained injuries and was transported to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City on Saturday night. The couple had celebrated 62 years of marriage and shared a deep love for one another, as noted by Clifton.
“He was a dedicated worker who cherished his family. A few years ago, they suffered the loss of a granddaughter named Jennifer to cancer,” Clifton remarked.
Hughes County Emergency Management reported on Saturday that the tornado in Spaulding resulted in one fatality and two injuries. Clifton took to Facebook to express her family’s request for prayers for Jerry’s children, grandchildren, and Nyoka during this difficult time.
