Jeromy Ambrose Obituary, Death; – Louisiana State Police Troop D has reported the fatality of a Leesville man in a single-vehicle accident that occurred on January 4.
Troopers arrived at the accident site around 5 p.m. on Saturday, located on Louisiana Highway 109, in proximity to Bearhead Road. Upon their arrival, they found that Jeromy Ambrose, aged 42, from Leesville, had succumbed to his injuries.
Following an investigation, it was determined that Ambrose was traveling south on LA Hwy 109 when, for reasons yet to be established, he was unable to navigate a curve in the roadway, resulting in his vehicle leaving the road and colliding with a tree.
The Louisiana State Police indicated that Ambrose was not wearing a helmet approved by the Department of Transportation at the time of the incident, which contributed to his fatal injuries sustained at the scene. Standard toxicology samples have been collected for further analysis. The investigation remains ongoing.
