Jeff’s persistent dedication to his family, his community, and his religious convictions would be one of the most distinguishing characteristics that he would exhibit throughout his whole life. He was a guy of strong character features, in addition to being well-known for his wit, his generosity, and his enthusiasm for life. He was also well-known for his enthusiasm for life. Everyone who knew him was filled with delight because of his enthusiasm for pastimes such as fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with the people he cared about the most. With a great deal of excitement, he anticipated participating in these activities. Over the course of his life, Jeff was not only a devoted member of Midway Church, but he was also an active participant in a broad variety of different ministries in the community that surrounded Midway Church. He was not hesitant to share his faith with whomever he could, and he was committed to telling people about the ways in which the love of Christ had the ability to improve their lives. He was not afraid to share his faith with anyone. There was no doubt in his mind that he could convey his religious beliefs to another person.
His entrepreneurial excitement and drive were unrivaled, and this was due to the fact that Jeff was the founder and CEO of Smith Southern Equipment for thirty years, in addition to being the owner of several other firms. Additionally, he was the proprietor of a number of other businesses simultaneously. Nevertheless, the most significant legacy he leaves behind is formed of the numerous individuals whose lives he affected and the countless more whom he inspired along the journey. Additionally, he lived each day with a sense of purpose, acting as a guiding light for those who were in close proximity to him. His religious convictions served as the foundation for his existence, and he lived each day with a sense of purpose.

His legacy will endure in perpetuity in the hearts of those people. Although he is not physically present among us any more, the fact that his spirit will continue to inspire and encourage us in the days and weeks to follow does not negate the reality that he will continue to encourage and inspire us. In the midst of this trying time, let us find solace in the fact that Jeff has arrived at a place of eternal peace within the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. In addition, let us take solace in the memories that we have of the times we took together with him
