Jayden Greer,Daequan Stevens Obituary, Death; – The medical examiner has confirmed the identities of two individuals who lost their lives in a shooting incident at Dineen Park in Milwaukee.
The event occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Appleton Avenue and Capitol Drive, in close proximity to a playground. Jayden Greer, aged 16, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“My children enjoy visiting the park. We typically allow them to go alone, but that will no longer be the case,” stated Deaudray McKinney. The remains of Daequan Stevens, aged 27, were discovered in an alley several blocks away, as indicated by the demographic report. Additionally, a 19-year-old male sustained injuries but is anticipated to recover.
“This act of violence has deeply affected our community, and my thoughts are with the victims’ families during this profoundly challenging time,” remarked Milwaukee County Supervisor Felesia Martin in a statement.
As of now, law enforcement has not made any arrests related to the shooting.
